Every USC admits students to the spring semester, expecting to enroll about 300-500 of those students year. Many people assume spring admission is our waitlist. And although we might be able to move some of the pupils towards the fall semester, springtime admission is not a waitlist. Spring admission is an admission offer to USC.
So just why do it is done by us? Well, every 12 months we realize there will be students making in the springtime semester by either graduating early or studying abroad. We also have a very admission that is competitive at USC, and now we can never acknowledge all the wonderful students who connect with USC. So spring admission allows us to admit much more of the incredible pupils we want at USC because we know we’ll have more room available in the spring semester.
Spring admits aren’t any less important to USC than pupils admitted to the fall or students who transfer to USC after several semesters of university elsewhere. Spring admits are as much USC students as any other Trojan, and we want them at USC as some other Trojan. Coming to USC in the spring enables you to start your college experience in an unique way. You can ease to the university transition by taking classes at a community college that is local. You are able to explore the world through a research abroad program. Dear Admitted Transfer Students…
Many transfer students are beginning to hear from us with decisions. If you haven’t already, don’t panic. We will contact everybody else by June 1st with either a request spring grades or even a decision. Which basically means more waiting…sorry. For anyone of you’ve got currently been admitted, or are wondering what the steps that are next be in the event that you are admitted, this web site’s for you personally.
- In your letter of admission, you’ve probably noticed you need to submit your Enrollment Commitment deposit by June 1st or within two weeks of receiving your admission letter that it says. What this means is, you have until June 1st to decide if you receive the admission decision before June 1stst
- Fill out the FAFSA and the CSS profile ASAP, or even already completed. We don’t wish your power to invest in USC to be held up by educational funding. The sooner these documents are had by us, the quicker we can allow you to get the information.
- Submit your housing application. Although housing is not assured for transfer pupils, there is some availability. The earlier you apply, the higher the probabilities. It is possible to submit your housing application prior to the dedication deposit. USC also has off-campus student housing, therefore don’t neglect to check those options as well.
- Register for Orientation 5-7 company days after your submit your commitment deposit. You shall receive an email because of the link.
